Spencer Smith Park is a must visit location on Burlington’s waterfront.

Besides the playground and splash pad Spencer Smith Park is notorious for hosting the Sound of Music Festival and Burlington’s Ribfest. Two events that are worth visiting.

When you are down at Spencer Smith Park be sure to stop in at Sunshine Donuts across and up the road a bit. Make sure to take a picture with their famous donut sign that looks like something right out of the Simpsons.

Spencer Smith Park now offers an observation deck on their boardwalk that lights up at night.

It’s also a beautiful place to check out the Cherry Blossom tree’s in the Spring.
