Belfountain Condervation Area
Belfountain Conservation Area @cvc_ca in Belfountain
My review today is just a bunch of these emoji’s…
Belfountain Conservation Area is just GORGEOUS!
Reservations are required, book through @cvc_ca
It is stroller accessible in some areas, so you can get around the stairs.
If you have a stroller you’ll want to walk back towards the gatehouse to access the accessible pathway.
Bathrooms on site by the parking lot.
The conservation area consists of boardwalks, a river, a waterfall, a cave, history, and the iconic Belfountain bridge.
It’s a short stroll around the beautiful area and there is A LOT to see.
Adventure awaits in every corner. So, take your time wondering around.
I did a couple laps and explored every inch.
There is also a hiking trail that is straight out and back (for now while the other portion is under maintenance). The trail can take an hour to hike.
I paired this with another location in the area to hike.
Nearby you can find;
Island Lake Conservation Area
Forks if the Credit
Terra Cotta Conservation Area
Scottsdale Farm
Limehouse Conservation Area
There is a cute cafe and ice cream shoppe in Belfountain right around the corner if you are looking to sit and have something to eat before or after exploring.
