Brantford Twin Zoo
We recently visited Twin Valley Nature Park formerly Twin Valley Zoo @twinvalleynaturepark in Brantford.
You can pay at the gift shop when entering. No reservation required.
Bring a stroller or wagon for your littles who need a break from walking.
To walk the whole park wasn’t bad at all. My little one did most of it on her own because it’s a smaller nature park.
They don’t give maps out anywhere so I found it helpful to look up a previous version of their map on Google. I used it to navigate the park.
You can expect to see Zebra’s, Tiger’s and my favourite.. black bears.
My little one loved the deer and being up close with the peacocks. She also loved the monkeys and lemurs.
There are so many shaded spaces and picnic tables in the park. So pack a lunch and relax.
My favourite picnic space is next to the black swans.
Bathrooms are on site.
There are no vendors selling food. The gift shop sells snacks and has a drink cooler. So make sure to pack plenty of water and food for your stay.
The whole park took us an hour to walk and stop at every puddle to play with rocks.
But you could definitely stretch it out and enjoy the animals a little more. Plus we didn’t stay to eat so next time we will.
