Busy Mama Birthday Traditions

🌳 Plant a tree for their birthday and take a picture of your growing child beside their growing tree every year.

🕯 Save their birthday candles from their birthday cake and display them in a shadow box.

🍽 Make a celebration plate they use to eat from on their big day. Head to @crackpotstudio and have everyone paint their own plate to use every year.
🎨 We use ours to celebrate every big event, first days of school, big achievements, etc.

🥞 Have a designated meal that is made or ordered every year. My husband makes the Mini pancakes every year for his birthday.

🖐🏼 Keep a copy of their growing hand or foot print every year by stamping their hand or foot in paint and letting dry on a piece of paper.

📔 Create a Birthday Album to display pictures from birthdays and other special momentum’s.

💌 Keep birthday cards from friends and family.

📚 Ask friends and family for books with personalized notes instead of presents.

📝 Have friends and family write a letter to your child every year on their birthday and seal them for your child to open on a special date in the future.

💻 Assign your child an email address and have friends and family use it to write emails, send updates or attach photos.

✏️ Print out a birthday questionnaire for your child to fill out every year, watch the answers change as they grow older.

🎈Take a photo of your child holding the number of balloons per number of years born.

🖼 Take a picture of your child holding a picture from their birthday last year. Eventually you will have a picture inside a picture inside a picture, etc.
