Jellystone Park Niagara Falls
Our latest staycation was one for the books!
Every time we drive to Niagara Falls for a fun day or night spent on the iconic and bustling Clifton Hill the Jellystone Park sign catches my eye.
Our family has only camped one other time but it wasn’t anything like our experience at Jellystone. With all the new renovations at the park and the intrigue to try out camping, I had to book a weekend away.
The park had a few options to choose from including RV and tent sites and RV and cabin rentals. We opted for the RV rental as it had the best option for space.
It was three bedrooms, a kitchen, kitchen table, living room and bathroom with tub and shower. It also had a porch, fire pit and charcoal bbq. You can purchase firewood and supplies at the park’s store.

Next time I would try the cabin’s, they looked very cozy.
One of the things we all LOVED
I couldn’t get over how many activities there were. They have a whole schedule for the day including things like free crafts, crafts you can pay for; decorating shirts, painting piggy banks, etc, activities you can pay for like pony rides, are events like a foam party, dance party and more!
It was the absolute highlight of our trip. We loved the familiarity of getting together with all the family’s and other kids at the park and meeting for activities at the Rec Hall. I have never experienced a staycation like this.
They update their schedule of events through their Facebook page. Here you can find out what events are coming up the week prior.
Here is a sample of their schedule:

All the fun we had below is also available with a day-pass!
Even though we had never visited Jellystone Park before we heard from a few guests that there were some major upgrades. Our kid’s absolutely loved how much fun there was just steps from our rental.
They had a giant bouncing pillow, a big playground with rubber flooring, an inflatable waterslide, huge splash pad and heated pool!
We can’t wait to return
We had the absolute BEST time. I would definitely return and even invite other family’s with kids to join us. I want to share these memories with those closest to us. My kid’s had never smiled more and everything just seemed so easy and relaxed.
I can’t recommend this one enough.
Know before you go…
The park has a store that offers basic needs like chips, soap, water and a large gift shop section. So if you are in a bind you can find most of what you need here.
There is a Walmart and Tim Hortons 3 minutes up the road for everything else!
I would recommend to bring your own blankets. I didn’t even think to pack any and what they offered wasn’t that warm during the chilly nights.
