I really wanted to take the littles for a hike to Crooks Hollow Conservation Area but when I got there the parking was closed.
So we turned around and went to Christie Lake Conservation Area @hamiltonconservation in Dundas to take a hike to the Darnley Grist Mill and the Darnley Cascade.
We parked in the parking lot closest to the Disc Golf course and followed along the outside loop of the lake to the bridge across the dam.
It’s stroller friendly up until that point and then the bridge blocks a stroller from walking through.
If you walk past the bridge and to the left of the dam down the narrow path you’ll be able to see the Darnley Cascade and just past that near Crooks Hollow Rd is the old Mill.
Sometimes our walks don’t always go as planned but we try to make the best of it!
