Devil’s Punchbowl

The Devil’s Punchbowl in Hamilton is a great way to view a waterfall just steps from the parking lot and it’s completely accessible from the top!

This waterfall is usually quite active in the spring (like most waterfalls) when the spring thaw sets in.

Currently there is an active fall to view.

Just steps from the falls is a platform with an amazing view of the city!

I wish I could have taken better pictures and videos of the view but apparently I’ve become extremely scared of heights and held on to the bench feet away for dear life while my Husband laughed at me. 🤦🏻‍♀️

This location also boasts a large cross memorial that over looks the city.

There are plenty of hiking trails nearby and accessible from the parking lot.

Parking is $5/car.

There is a railing around the falls for safety.

If you are looking to add more fun to your list there are a few local gems in the area we’ve visited and can recommend.

This includes; Battlefield Park, Alpacas of Eighth and Mud and Eramosa Karst (stroller friendly).

Opening in the Spring is the Punch Bowl Market & Bakery @punchbowlmarket across the road.
