Donkey Sanctuary of Canada
The Donkey Sanctuary of Canada @donkeysanctuaryofcanada in Puslinch has been on my list since I was a kid!
I’m so happy we finally made it out and visited the donkey’s.
I’ve been to a lot of farms in the past. I’ve seen a lot of goats, llamas and other farm animals but I’ve never been to a Donkey Sanctuary.
You can schedule your visit through one of their ‘open days’ online. They’re usually on a Sunday.
You are able to visit all of their donkey’s by walking around the farm where they also house special need donkeys, miniature donkeys and mules.
You can pet the donkeys through the fences.
There is a donkey themed gift shop on the way out.
There is a beautiful picnic area by a pond across from the parking where you can relax after your stay.
