Elora Quarry Conservation Area in Elora (not to be mistaken with Elora Gorge) was absolutely breathtaking.
It’s now CLOSED for the season but you’ll want to bookmark this for next year!
They take reservations from June to Labour Day.
The beach itself is super small but it’s not overly crowded and there’s enough room on the sand to space out.
The old quarry makes the water look turquoise and the quarry walls make the most stunning backdrop.
It’s highly patrolled by security. No trespassing and definitely no cliff jumping.
The Mini had a blast playing in the water and sand.
He even liked walking the little trails around the quarry.
We stopped at @willyschipwagon across the road for some amazing hot dogs and fries.
Bathrooms on site – no change rooms unless you change in the bathroom.
No dogs allowed.
Stroller friendly trails.
Three parking lot levels, the furthest is closest to the beach.
