Today we ventured out to Heart Lake Conservation Area @trca_hq in Brampton for a walk.
There’s a nice trail around this heart shaped lake to take in the sights and get a view of wildlife from the dirt path. We didn’t make it too far as the mosquitos were intense today so I’m not sure if it’s all stroller friendly.
We stuck to the road up top that took us around the Conservation Area but we couldn’t see the lake from this viewpoint.
There is a lot of green space, picnic tables, picnic areas available.
The splash pad and wading pool are both closed.
It was great to get out and explore a walk in Brampton but the gypsy moth caterpillars were raining down from the trees and covered the roads, grass, everywhere…
So I’d highly recommend trying this trail out but maybe not right this second.
