An all-season adventure with Horseshoe Resort

We just had the most magical staycation at the @horseshoeresort in Barrie!

We always try to take one winter staycation or weekend away in the area with our family.

We opted to stay at their Slopeside Condos to have more space and our own kitchen, couch, etc. This space was perfect for us and I’m so happy we chose it.

Busy Nonno stayed at The Inn at Horseshoe in their main building which is just steps way from the Slopeside Condos.

The main building also housed the indoor swimming pool and sauna. We also loved the buffet lunch and Eleven 01 Stone Oven Pizza.

Across the road in a separate space housed the Crazy Horse Sports Bar & Grill which always served us delicious food and has a kid-friendly menu with crayons.

In the same building is the Shoe Brew for your daily coffee fix.

Their Après Patio is the cutest spot to sit by a fire, take in the sights of the slopes and have a drink, or snack.

The Alpine Cafeteria is the perfect pit spot for snacks or light meals.

You can also access the rental shop, book ski or snowboard lessons for you and/or your Littles or visit their shop for all your ski and snowboard essentials.

They have a super cute outdoor skating rink located just outside the Après Patio and next to their fun playground for the Littles.

Just down from the Slopeside Condos you’ll find their snow tubing hill. Littles 42” and over are allowed to participate with adult supervision.

Snow tubing offers weekend and weekday pricing and are closed on Mondays.

The resort also offers snow shoeing, fat biking, snowmobiling, and walking trails.

And they have a resident Spa @ambaspa!
