Kiwanis Park in Kitchener is the perfect wading pool to take the littles to! 💦
The pool gets gradually deeper towards the middle where black painted lines draw out the borders of where kids (depending on age or ability) can enter.
If your child wanted to take the lifeguards swim test to enter the deeper part they could.
The Mini didn’t want to leave. He enjoyed splashing around with his cousins all morning.
Book your time slot ahead of time using the @cityofkitchener’s website.
The pool is surrounded by green space and shaded trees. There were tons of picnic tables to set your items down on. Even after the time a lot was sold out there were a large amount remaining.
Bathrooms/ change rooms on site.
Lifeguards on site.
There is a concession stand that sells the usual pop, chips, ice cream but also food items.
There is a small splash pad (not pictured) to the side of the pool.
There is a really nice playground outside of the pool area as well!
We opted for taking a walk along the Grand River which is directly behind the pool fence.
10/10!
