π³ LaSalle Park @cityburlington in Burlington is the perfect place to get exercise locally.
The Mini had been asking to play at a playground a lot lately. I prefer to take walks for exercise but I can never say no to my Mini man. π₯°
ππΌ So I instantly thought, LaSalle Park.
βοΈ It has the best of both worlds. Their newly updated playground was great for the Mini to burn some energy and there are beautiful trails through the woods and along the lakes edge for Mama.
πΆπ» Not pictured is baby girl in her stroller where we walked one of the main trails to the boardwalk. It is a little hilly on some paths so itβs all about your comfort level and strollers capability. The trails may be icy or muddy at times.
This is a popular place for swans, ducks, geese and a variety of woodland creatures.

There are also some great tobogganing hills here as well!
βοΈ In the summer they have a wading pool and splash pad and itβs a great place for picnics and play dates.
βοΈThis park does become very busy. We went during the week around 11:30am the first time and left after seeing how busy the playground and parking lot were. We went back the next day at 9am to enjoy the space without it being busy. Plan accordingly and if it is busy, come back another time.
