London Children’s Museum
London Children’s Museum @londonchildrensmuseum in London was high on my list of recommendations while touring the area.
It is one of the most hands on museums we’ve visited in the area.
There are 3 whole levels of hands on fun.
We reserved our time ahead through their website.
The first level was very cool. There was a cave you can walk or crawl through. You used a light to find script on the walls and search for items.
There was a little sand play area to find fossils and dinosaur bones everywhere!
When we arrived the museum was hosting a bracelet making session.
There were a few rooms that were highlights for us.
I usually choose one but not this time..
One of the rooms is a tiny town themed room for imaginative play, with a miniature McDonalds! SO CUTE. The whole space was very well done.
The Mini’s favourite part of the museum was the planetarium where we learned about constellations. I also loved this room and the stories they told us about the stars.
Off the planetarium is a space shuttle with a spaceship. The kids can climb through the spaceship and play with all the controls.
Every inch of the building had fun in store, even the hallways.
I also loved the room with the farm stations where children can grow their own crops.
There was also a treehouse playground with a big tree and slide.
We learned how to fish in the Arctic and build igloos.
I can’t describe how fun this place was.
There was so much fun packed into this space. Something for everyone.
Again, it would be for a younger crowd.
But I highly recommend adding it to your list.
