Mel Swart – Lake Gibson Conservation Park

Mel Swart – Lake Gibson Conservation Park

I have wanted to visit Mel Swart Lake Gibson Conservation Area since my love of boardwalks started.

The Conservation Area is free to use, no reservations needed.

The locals love the giant hill for tobogganing. It’s one of the most popular in the area and is close to Bronte Creek in size.

The boardwalk is a 2 minute walk from the parking lot. It spans across one side of Lake Gibson. There is an observation deck in the middle.

This Conservation Area isn’t a big hike through the woods and is more like a nice walk along the lake.

I obviously went for the boardwalk and loved it!
