Niagara Parks Power Station

Niagara Falls Power Station

Niagara Parks Power Station @niagaraparks in Niagara Falls is an often overlooked tourist destination and I have no idea why!

The tunnel was the highlight for this trip for me.

It’s similar to Journey Behind The Falls. However, the tunnel is a little bigger. In my opinion, the view is better!

The tunnel is a short elevator ride down from the museums main floor.

While on the elevator, feel free to look out the glass doors. You can learn more about the history of the Power Station.

The tunnel is a 10 minute walk to the viewing point.

It was super cold in the tunnel.

I brought the stroller for my toddler so I didn’t have to carry her and could get through the tunnel faster.

The viewing deck was beautiful. There was a slight mist coming off the falls the day I went. They have rain ponchos available at the front desk of the museum on the main floor.

The view was incredible.

Their employee, Bob, was absolutely amazing at providing knowledge, pointing fun things out for my daughter and snapping photos for us.

When we were done we took the ten minute walk back through the tunnel to the elevator.

We took a walk around the museums upper level and learned a little more on the history.

Even the outside of the Power Station was beautiful!

Parking is on site for $35/day.

Niagara Falls seasons parking pass is currently on sale for $40.

You can use it all season and have two license plates registered under it (hello, share with a friend).
