We always love heading out as a family and finding an activity we can all enjoy!

We love any excuse to visit Locke Street @lockestshops in Hamilton.
They have amazing dine-in options, so many yummy dessert stops, an epic toy store and so many other fun shops to visit.
Play with Clay had a lot of great options for the littles to choose from (and us big kids too).
Every piece is priced individually.
Choose your piece and then pick out your colours.
Take your time painting your piece, the more coats of paint the darker the piece will be once it’s glazed.
After you’ve finished you leave your piece behind for it to be glazed (a shiny coating).
We love creating these pieces for gifts or as keepsakes.
We’ve had the kids paint special plates when they were little and they use them for every special occasion.
