Riverdale Farm

Riverdale Farm

I’ve had this farm on my list of places to go for so long and am happy we finally visited!

Riverdale Farm is located in a quiet neighbourhood of Toronto.

The best part of the farm is it’s FREE.

Parking is located on the side streets.

There is a real cute food stop called Park Snacks just steps up the road. They offer lunch, drinks and ice cream!

There is a large park around the farm. If you want to stay for the day, you could bring a picnic blanket. You can stay and relax.

The farm itself offers your typical farm animals; cow, horse, sheep, goats and more.

It’s a one way self guided and stroller friendly walk.

I would say the farm could take around an hour to visit.

There was also a small area for kids to play inside the meeting house. The hours for the play area is;

Tuesday – Friday 10:45 – 11:45am
Mon, Wed, Fri – 1:30 – 3pm
Saturday 9:30 – 3:30pm

There are just a couple small toys to play with and a bench for parents. There’s also a bathroom and change table here.

There are bathrooms at the entrance/exit of the farm as well.
