Saltfleet Conservation Area

Saltfleet Conservation is the Hamilton Conservation Authority’s @hamiltonconservation newest space to explore!

The cost is $8/a car by parking meter in the parking lot located at;

444 First Road East, Stoney Creek, ON, L8J 2X9

At the moment while the wetlands build up it is a single short trail. The trail is flat.

My little loved tinkering around here and looking at the rocks and birds.

I’m excited to see what it looks like now that everything is turning green!

My favourite part of Saltfleet is that the trail connects to the middle of Dofasco trail!

The Dofasco 2000 trail is a straight out and back, 11.5km trail that can take you from the Devil’s Punchbowl to a boardwalk through a marsh.

The Dofasco trail has been on my hike-list for so long so I’m excited to go back via Saltfleet to test it out!
