The Big Apple
I really had no idea this cool place existed.
I’ve heard of the ‘big apple.’ I have even seen pictures of this fun photo op in Colborne. Still, I had no idea what else was there!
We randomly decided to stop by on our way home from Ranney Gorge Suspension Bridge in Campbellford. It was after a long day. We were pleasantly surprised!
It’s NOT just a photo op. This giant store includes a whole section devoted to candy, wine and beer!
There’s a huge restaurant side full of fresh baked goods. It offers yummy food made to order. You can also shop for little trinkets and toys.
You can dine-in with proof of vaccine or take it to go like we did for the long drive back!
The Mini stocked up on candy and we ordered some lattes and grilled cheese. Yum!
In the warmer months (May and onward) the outdoor area includes;
A petting zoo
Merry-go-round
Mini Putt
Ping Pong
Train Rides
And more…
& it’s all free!! Unlimited and free!
We also didn’t realize until we left and were passing the Big Apple from the hiway that there’s a FACE on the other side
Definitely worth a visit.
