🏰 Waterloo Pioneer Memorial Tower in Kitchener was a fun spot. It has always been on my list. I was finally able to check it out.

The tower is located above the Grand River and connects to the Walter Bean Grand River Trail. The trail boarders the Grand River and runs 17km in length.

The first part located directly beside the tower is gravel and stroller friendly. However, when you start heading down towards the river, it is not stroller accessible.

There is a super cute dinosaur themed park directly beside the tower and tons of green space to run around.

At one point, you could go up the tower stairs to the top. However, it is now blocked off.

It would be a nice place to take pictures of. If you’re looking to explore the Grand River, it would be a nice stop to make.
