Wild Waterworks
Wild Waterworks @wild_waterworks in Hamilton was SUCH a great time. We had a huge response from everyone. They wanted to know all the details of our day!
I’ll start by saying, this location could use some updating. I think there are some staff shortages. However, I didn’t mind because it wasn’t too expensive. It also meant fewer people were there.
They are currently open Wednesday – Sunday from 11am – 7pm.
CLOSED Monday & Tuesday’s
We went Sunday at opening and waited maybe 10 mins to get in. While we waited we put sunscreen on and got organized.
If you rent a cabana ahead of time or have a seasons pass you can get in at 10:30am.
The cabana was an additional charge, we went for it.. it was a cool place in the shade to eat. Servers brought water. If you wanted to order food, they would bring it to you. Our package included tube rentals. We had lounge chairs and a table as well.
Tube rentals are extra. If you want to use the tube in the wave pool or just have your own tube so you don’t have to wait for one you can rent one
We barely used the tubes. You get ones at the lazy river and the water slides for free to use while you are there.
They have double tubes at the lazy river which is great to accompany a little one.
They also have lockers you can rent.
Life jackets are available at the wave pool and the lazy river.
We brought our puddle jumpers for the kids but just used their life jackets instead. We were told they couldn’t have their puddle jumpers in the lazy river. I’m not sure if that included other places.
My son was tall enough to go on most of the big water slides. You need to be 42” or taller. They looked like they didn’t go too fast. There is a water slide with a double person tube. An adult can go down with their little one who is over 42”.
You can bring food and drink inside!!! This is HUGE in my opinion. There are tons of picnic tables and green spaces to sit.
You can also order food there. They had hot dogs, burgers, fries, etc.
They also have a store completely dedicated to junk food (my sons favourite)..
My littles are almost 2 and 4 and they had the best time.
The water wasn’t too warm.
